Reports to the Director of Business Strategy for NAM Secure Power. This position manages internal and external data sources to support the growth and strategic plan of NAM Secure Power, deriving insights from large datasets to deliver decision-grade output for future business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Research and analyze market trends.
  • Leverage in-house and third-party research for data discovery, collection, and analysis of relevant market opportunities.
  • Engage in data discovery, collection, and analysis to identify market opportunities.
  • Analyze and work with internal commercial data, including Sales, Orders, and pipeline opportunities.
  • Create thorough documented business case analysis and proposals for accelerated above-market growth and the launching of new strategic initiatives.
  • Own and maintain analytical models for Schneider Electric’s addressable market for Secure Power offerings in North America, as well as any offer gaps where Schneider Electric could choose to serve customers.
  • Own the NAM Secure Power contributions to Annual Market Review (AMR), the Composite Index (CI), the Rolling Forecast, and ongoing collaboration with other market intelligence teams within Schneider Electric.
  • Support the strategic vision of Secure Power through executive briefings, competitive analysis, and analytical deep-dives to support Secure Power NAM and NAM leadership teams.
  • Conduct regular cadences with offer teams, commercial counterparts, and participate in offer and program launch activities.
  • Monitor and benchmark performance vs. key competitors in the industry.
  • Prepare regular business review materials for evaluation of strategic initiative performance.
  • Work with extended teams within Finance, Marketing, Supply Chain, Commercial teams, the NAM organization, and global functions to create new market strategies, evaluate operational efficiency, and overall performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, preferably with Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or related fields.
  • 5+ years of experience working in data center or critical power/cooling infrastructure-related fields in strategic, financial, technical, and/or commercial roles.
  • Ability to create and interpret business analysis, dexterity with large data sets, including commercial data.
  • Familiarity with Sales, Order, and Pipeline data, including familiarity and capabilities with systems like Oracle and SAP.
  • Collaborative leader able to communicate, partner, and motivate cross-functional groups toward mutual success.
  • Well-organized self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver output appropriate for executive audiences.
  • Strong competencies in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint), Tableau, Alteryx.

Pay

For this U.S.-based position, the expected pay range is USD 168,800 - USD 253,200 per year. This range includes base pay and short-term incentives. Individual pay is determined by performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
