Data and Analytics Strategy Lead

Role Overview: A senior leadership position in Data & Analytics, responsible for guiding a team of Data Architects, Engineers, Visualization Engineers, and Analysts to develop scalable data solutions that meet business needs. The role involves collaborating with business leaders, designing, testing, and implementing data pipelines, models, and visualizations, and providing technical oversight and mentorship to foster advanced data capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage cross-functional teams in data engineering and analytics projects
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand and deliver data products and processes
• Design, develop, and support reliable data solutions using cloud-native technologies
• Provide technical guidance on data pipelines, models, and visualizations
• Mentor team members and contribute to the development of data engineering and analytics expertise

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum ten years of experience in data-driven solution design, development, and delivery
• At least five years managing managers in data & analytics delivery
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master’s or PhD preferred
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Data Platform (Azure Data Lake, Synapse, Data Factory, Power BI, Azure ML)
• Proven leadership in cloud-based data ingestion, transformation, modeling, security, governance, and visualization
• Experience managing agile projects and leading high-performance teams
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with technical and business audiences
