The Data Analytics Senior Consultant partners with Finance teams to translate complex business needs into scalable, data-driven solutions. This hands-on role leads high-impact analytics projects from requirements through implementation, combining financial understanding with technical expertise to deliver trusted datasets, semantic models, reporting solutions, and actionable insights.

Responsibilities

  • Lead complex analytics initiatives from requirements through delivery, validation, and implementation.
  • Partner with Finance teams to translate business questions and financial processes into clear data and solution requirements.
  • Build scalable analytics solutions using SQL, Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Python, and advanced Excel.
  • Develop and maintain trusted datasets, semantic models, calculations, and reporting solutions.
  • Validate data sources, business rules, and financial metrics to ensure accurate and consistent results.
  • Support migration from legacy data sources and tools to modern Fabric-based solutions.
  • Establish best practices for data sourcing, transformation, quality, documentation, governance, and reporting.
  • Coach analysts and enable Finance teams through technical consultation, training, and reusable solutions.

Requirements

  • 3 or more years of relevant experience in data analytics, business intelligence, financial analysis, or a related field.
  • Experience delivering complex analytics solutions from requirements through implementation.
  • Experience working with Finance, insurance, or other business partners is preferred.

Pay

Compensation offered for this role is $70,100.00 - $121,475.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
