Data & Analytics Engineer

About the role

CGI is seeking a dedicated and experienced Data and Analytics Engineer to join our team in Nashville. You will solve important business and technical problems as a full-time consultant serving local, enterprise clients.

Responsibilities

• Engage with business partners to analyze business processes, gather requirements, and recommend technical solutions.
• Design and implement enterprise Data and Analytics solutions for unique and complicated enterprise business problems.
• Develop, document, and implement: Data models for transactional systems and/or reporting solutions, ETL for analytics solutions and data migrations, Data analytic and reporting solutions such as PowerBI or Tableau.
• Contribute to estimation for project tasks.

• Experience developing enterprise, full lifecycle Data and Analytic solutions with hands on experience in one or more of the following: SQL, ETL, data modeling, reporting, and analytics.
• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Management or Computer Information Systems (MIS or CIS) or related degree required.

Qualifications

• Desired qualifications:
  • Hands on experience building end-to-end data and analytics solutions in each of the following areas: data modeling, data warehousing, ETL, reporting, and analytics.
  • Experience building and designing reporting and transactional models in various database management systems such as SQL Server, Oracle, AWS RDS, RedShift, PostgresSQL, MySQL, or Snowflake.
  • Understanding of Master Data Management tools and processes.
  • Experience with front end development technologies such as HTML, CSS, React, and/or Javascript.
  • Experience building AI solutions or leveraging AI in software development.
  • Experience leading small teams of 1 to 3 people.

Pay

$70,800.00 - $156,700.00
