Overview

Siteman Cancer Center is seeking a Manager of Data Analytics and Business Intelligence to lead the analytics strategy and portfolio at the center. The role aims to support cancer center leaders in addressing opportunities in areas such as quality improvement, program growth, patient experience, and research.

Responsibilities

  • Manages the Data Analytics Team to deliver information support for decision-making through the production of intelligence on process and outcome measures in all domains of quality performance.
  • Guides leaders on data analytics related to formal PI initiatives and continuous improvement team activities.
  • Supports management teams in creating and accessing reports, dashboards, and scorecards across various systems.
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for data analytics and business intelligence for all levels of management.
  • Manages and develops the Data Analytics Team, including onboarding, hiring, training, workload management, and performance evaluations.
  • Ensures that the productivity and actions of the team align with the department's operational goals.
  • Develops and adheres to departmental staffing, revenue, and expense budgets, and responds to changes affecting budget goals.
  • Led or serves as the subject matter expert on data analytics and business intelligence for complex and strategic initiatives, including translating national standards and BJC-wide performance into hospital-wide and department-wide performance standards.
  • Identifies and prioritizes analytical opportunities across the hospital and BJC, and coordinates efforts to support future strategic and tactical needs.
  • Interacts with the Management Team and PI Management team regularly to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Drives and supports cross-functional projects focused on delivering value through strategic initiatives and process improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field
  • 5-10 years of experience in a similar role
  • 2-5 years of supervisory experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in relevant field
