About the Opportunity

The Data Analyst plays a critical role in transforming complex supply chain data into actionable insights that support the optimization of logistics operations. This position contributes to the organization by identifying trends, enhancing data integrity, and enabling data-driven decision-making that improves operational efficiency and reduces costs.

Responsibilities

• Interpret data and analyze results using statistical techniques to generate business reports.
• Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, and analytics strategies to enhance statistical efficiency and quality.
• Acquire data from primary and secondary sources while maintaining data system integrity.
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex transportation and supply chain datasets.
• Clean data by reviewing reports and performance indicators to locate and correct issues.
• Collaborate with management and operational teams to prioritize business and information needs.
• Create data visualizations, dashboards, and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions based on data insights.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst.
• Strong knowledge of reporting packages and databases (SQL); programming experience is highly desirable.
• Technical expertise in data models, database design, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
• Proficiency in statistics and experience with statistical packages such as Excel, SPSS, or SAS.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Skilled in queries, report writing, and presenting findings clearly.
• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, or Statistics preferred.
• Prior experience in logistics or transportation is a significant advantage.

Pay

• $45 - $55 USD per hour
