Summary Of Duties And Responsibilities
The Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, querying, organizing, and researching data. They will perform comprehensive data analysis in support of case assessment and investigative duties, and identify questionable practices, abnormalities and/or irregularities. The Data Analyst will run queries using specialized databases; develop data history analysis to support investigations; prepare written reports supporting exhibits such as chart and graphs to support analysis; and act as a liaison between various organizations and agencies to develop and implement general and case specific information exchange.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in economics, information technology, computer science, accounting, finance, business, or similar quantitative field
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Ability to demonstrate critical analysis
- Strong technological and problem-solving skills
- Ability to conduct research using law enforcement databases and open-source search tools
- Outstanding written and communication skills
- Attendance, flexibility, and the ability to build and maintain satisfactory working relationships with other agencies and OAG employees

This position is not eligible for remote hours.
