About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Management Analyst to join our remote team. This role is pivotal in supporting initiatives that enhance enterprise data quality, governance, and analytics. The successful candidate will drive technical innovation and continuous improvement projects, ensuring the integrity and usability of the bank’s critical data assets. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation related to the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW), providing expert consultation to internal teams, and implementing enhancements that improve data profiling, issue resolution, and overall data management processes. Additionally, this role involves building modern analytics dashboards, enforcing data policies, and facilitating discussions to identify areas for improvement within our data management capabilities. The position offers an exciting opportunity to influence enterprise-wide data strategies and contribute to the bank’s digital transformation efforts, all while working remotely across various markets in the United States.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Data Management, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in data management, data analysis, financial analysis, or related roles.
  • Proficiency working with databases and data warehouses.
  • Strong experience with SQL and data transformation methods.
  • Knowledge of data lineage documentation, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
  • Experience with workflow management tools such as JIRA, and data governance platforms like Collibra.
  • Familiarity with data profiling, data quality, metadata management, and data classification tools.
  • Hands-on experience with data analysis and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and Alteryx.
  • Experience with data quality solutions like Informatica DQ and Axiom SL.
  • Knowledge of banking systems and products, including Oracle, SQL Server, Flexcube, LoanIQ, Signature, and Salesforce.
  • Proficiency with SharePoint, Confluence, Toad, and other related software.
  • Understanding of regulatory reporting requirements and data governance principles.

Responsibilities

  • Support enterprise data initiatives to improve data quality, governance, and analytics capabilities.
  • Create, update, and maintain technical documentation for the Enterprise Data Warehouse, including source-to-target mappings and data dictionaries.
  • Provide expert consultation to teams and stakeholders on data management best practices and tactics to achieve strategic goals.
  • Identify and implement enhancements for data profiling, exception reporting, and issue resolution within the EDW environment.
  • Build and maintain dashboards to modernize analytics and facilitate data-driven decision-making.
  • Enforce data policies and procedures across the organization to ensure compliance and data integrity.
  • Conduct month-end data validations to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of reporting data.
  • Facilitate initiatives to develop and mature the bank’s data management capabilities, including data lineage and transformation processes.
  • Assist management in developing and executing business plans aligned with enterprise data strategies.
  • Stay informed on emerging technologies and trends impacting data management within the financial services industry.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize data workflows and improve overall data governance frameworks.
