Data Analyst (Geospatial/Visualization)
About the Role
Peraton seeks a Data Analyst (Geospatial/Visualization) to support USPACOM in conducting MRT-C mapping/assessments and data analytics for PACOM AOR capabilities/assets. Location: Honolulu, Hawaii. In this role, you will be part of the MRTC Data Analytics forward team with CONUS support, conducting assessments and mapping of assets across the PACOM AOR.
Responsibilities
- Develop geospatial visualizations of C4/Cyber terrain across the USPACOM/USINDOPACOM AOR based on travel team collections and HQ analysis
- Produce maps, overlays, and network diagrams depicting physical and logical dependencies
- Support common operational picture (COP) development and cross-domain information sharing
- Maintain geospatial data layers and update baseline visualizations as terrain data is collected and validated
Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD. Will consider Associates with 10 years or High School with 12 years of experience
- Proficiency in GIS tools (ArcGIS, QGIS) and geospatial analysis
- Experience with network visualization tools (Palantir, Maltego, or equivalent)
- Familiarity with military mapping standards and operational overlays
- Knowledge of USINDOPACOM geographic AOR and theater infrastructure
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Active TS with ability to obtain/maintain SCI
Pay
Target Salary Range: $112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
