Data Analyst, Enterprise
About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead, Enterprise Data Analyst to join our Enterprise Data Management (EDM) organization. This role is pivotal in bridging business strategy with technical analytics execution, acting as a shared resource across multiple business domains including Retail, Wholesale, Ecommerce, Supply Chain, Sales, Finance, and Marketing. The Lead Data Analyst will spearhead the discovery, design, and deployment of scalable reporting solutions and data products that enable data-driven decision-making at all levels of the organization. As a senior individual contributor, you will lead cross-functional analytics initiatives from inception to completion, mentor analysts, and elevate analytical standards across the team. You will collaborate closely with business leaders, technical teams, and data scientists to ensure that analytics efforts align with Under Armour’s enterprise-wide data strategy, fostering innovation and efficiency in reporting and analytics practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Typically 8+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or data strategy roles.
- Proven track record of delivering impactful reporting solutions that influence business decisions.
- Experience with AI tools such as Claude, Codex, MS Copilot, and Snowflake Cortex Code (CoCo).
- Extensive engagement across business functions including Retail, Wholesale, Ecommerce, Supply Chain, Sales, Finance, and Marketing.
- Proficiency in BI tools like Tableau and Power BI, and SQL; familiarity with Snowflake, DBT, and modern data stacks is advantageous.
- Able to create detailed functional and technical specifications.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts into business language.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience coaching or mentoring analysts and promoting best practices in analytics.
- ERP experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
Lead requirements gathering and analytics delivery, translating business KPIs into scalable reporting solutions.
Act as a shared analytics resource across various business domains, ensuring alignment of data solutions with business needs.
Manage intake, prioritization, and scope of analytics requests, balancing competing demands and setting clear expectations.
Design, build, and maintain dashboards, reports, and reusable data products using standard BI tools, emphasizing clarity and self-service insights.
Drive innovation in reporting practices, identifying opportunities to optimize and simplify analytics functions.
Coach and mentor junior analysts, fostering a culture of analytical excellence and knowledge sharing.
Collaborate with project teams, data engineers, data scientists, and system architects to deliver enterprise-wide data solutions.
Monitor business changes and proactively recommend analytics initiatives to enhance performance.
Present findings and project updates to stakeholders and leadership, ensuring clarity and actionable insights.
