Data Analyst / Engineer – Cybersecurity Data

About the role

We are seeking a mid-level to senior Data Analyst to support the Cyber Data Operations team within ISDAD allocated to projects for the GRC programs. This individual needs to be adept at analyzing data sources, creating technical requirements and overall scrubbing data from upstream source systems. They will work with both the stakeholders and the data development teams in order to understand the data sources being loaded into the CyberDW for the GRC programs.

Responsibilities

• Gather and organize data from internal systems, spreadsheets, and reports.
• Analyze trends, patterns, and business performance using Excel or BI tools.
• Any exposure to SQL and relational databases is a plus.
• Proficient in Python a plus.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret data in a business context.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Understanding of the GRC data space and knowledge of controls testing and how to automate controls testing types of projects (additional plus).

Requirements

• Banking experience required.
• Mid-level to senior Data Analyst background.
