Cyber Data Analysis Engineer
Valiant Solutions is seeking Top Secret Cleared Cyber Data Analyst Engineers to join our rapidly growing and innovative cybersecurity team. You will provide Network and Cybersecurity services supporting an Intelligence Community customer, working on transport and cybersecurity IT services across multiple networks, security domains, and global locations—including new facilities and construction to advance the IC mission.

Responsibilities
- Support transport and cybersecurity IT services on multiple networks and security domains at worldwide locations, including new facility construction.
- Collaborate with a team to deliver cybersecurity and network solutions for an Intelligence Community customer.
- Apply systems engineering principles, root cause analysis, and problem-solving techniques to resolve technical issues.
- Work with common infrastructure components (IPAM, DNS, DHCP), load balancers, firewalls, and virtual/physical infrastructure design.
- Utilize hypervisors such as VMware ESXi, Citrix XenServer, or Microsoft Hyper-V.
Requirements
- Active Top Secret clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
- 5+ years of Systems Engineer or similar experience.
- IAT II certification (required at hire) and CSSP Infrastructure Support certification (must obtain within 120 days of hire).
Skills
Required

- Excellent time management and ability to work unsupervised.
- Advanced Linux proficiency.
- Knowledge of network communication principles and systems engineering methods.
Desired
- Experience with public clouds (AWS, Google, Rackspace) or private clouds (VMware, OpenStack).
- Strong background in Unix or Windows servers.
- Experience with SIEM technologies (Elastic, Splunk, ArcSight).
- Familiarity with Cribl data aggregation/normalization.
- Scripting experience (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
