Data Analyst - Data & Analytics

As a Data Analyst within the Data & Analytics team, you will play a crucial role in advancing the firm's enterprise data strategy.
Responsibilities
- Partner with technology teams to design and deliver scalable data solutions that provide high-quality, reliable data for business use
- Drive adoption and business value from data, analytics, and BI solutions across functions
- Translate business needs into clear data and technology requirements
- Collaborate across business units to standardize and optimize enterprise data assets
- Support data governance and data quality initiatives in close partnership with Technology
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for business data inquiries
- Perform ad hoc analysis by extracting, transforming, and modeling data from multiple sources
- Validate and sign off on data deliverables to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to standards
- Contribute to Agile delivery of data initiatives in partnership with Technology teams
Requirements
- Must be able to work a hybrid schedule from either our Warren, NJ or New York City office
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical field
- 3+ years of experience in data analytics or a related role
- Strong understanding of core data concepts, including: Data modeling (dimensional modeling), ETL processes, data warehousing, data governance frameworks, structured and unstructured data, familiarity with metadata management, data lineage, and business glossaries
- Advanced SQL skills and strong analytical capabilities
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work across business and technology stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to translate complex data concepts into business-friendly insights
Qualifications
- Nice to have exposure to modern data platforms and cloud-based analytics environments
- Experience supporting data governance initiatives
Benefits
The base salary range for this position is $88,000 - $125,000 annually. The offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, experience, qualifications and work location. Pay
The base salary range for this position is $88,000 - $125,000 annually.

This role requires a hybrid schedule from either our Warren, NJ or New York City office.
