Job Summary We are seeking an experienced data analyst to support electric distribution operations in Colorado by building, maintaining, and enhancing performance scorecards and dashboards. This role plays a critical part in empowering leadership to make informed, data-driven decisions by consolidating key performance indicators, operational metrics, and trend data into clear, interactive visualizations. The ideal candidate will work closely with a collaborative leadership team, contributing to ongoing efforts to modernize the data infrastructure — including a transition to Power BI dashboards and exploration of Databricks for more automated data pipelines — while supporting quarterly business reviews and weekly performance reporting cycles. Responsibilities Build, update, and maintain weekly and year-to-date performance scorecards tracking key operational KPIsDevelop and enhance interactive Power BI dashboards to replace and upgrade existing reporting toolsConsolidate and present data for Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and leadership action planning sessionsTrack and report on metrics including overtime per worker, customer power outages, scheduled finish dates, and O&M spendIntegrate data from systems such as ARCOS emergency call systems and Echo Online safety observation platformsMonitor and report on safety observations and EDVIR driver compliance requirementsSupport the continued build-out of the organization's data lake infrastructureExplore and assist with implementing Databricks for more automated and scalable data workflowsCreate additional visuals and reporting tools that improve team decision-making and interactivityDevelop and manage multiple scorecards across various operational groups within electric distributionCollaborate regularly with leadership to quickly surface insights and respond to ad hoc data requestsParticipate in regular scorecard review meetings and contribute to data-driven action plans Skills Proficiency in Power BI for dashboard development and interactive data visualizationStrong data analysis and reporting skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insightsExperience working with large datasets and building scalable reporting solutionsFamiliarity with ARCOS and Echo Online platforms (preferred)Knowledge of Databricks or similar data engineering platforms (nice to have)Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency across the Microsoft product suiteStrong communication skills with the ability to present data clearly to leadership and non-technical stakeholdersAbility to manage multiple reporting workstreams and prioritize in a fast-paced environmentExperience supporting KPI tracking, trend analysis, and operational performance reportingBackground in utilities or electric distribution (nice to have) Experience 5–10 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related fieldDemonstrated experience building and maintaining scorecards and executive-level dashboardsExperience supporting leadership teams with data analysis and performance reportingPrior exposure to utilities or electric distribution operations is a plus This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on how a Colorado electric distribution operation uses data to drive performance and safety outcomes.
