Data Analyst

Role Description

UST is seeking a product-oriented Data Analyst to design, analyze, and operationalize data objects, data quality rules, and analytics frameworks that drive pricing, search, and operational performance at scale.

Analytical Tasks

• Analyze, document, and design data objects, dimensional models, and data quality rules for analytics and reporting use cases.
• Ensure governance, compliance, documentation, and explainability across all data assets and analyses.
• Maintain and monitor key KPIs across business including established SLAs.
• Run Pricing and Search frameworks.
• Diagnose pricing vs. search vs. supply related performance issues through structured, hypothesis driven deep dive analysis.
• Produce insights that inform operational levels, readiness for large sales events, and configuration changes.

Qualifications

• Experience range: 4-6 years of experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
• 3+ years of experience in data design, dimensional modeling, and analytics
• Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in cross-functional teams
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
• Strong customer focus with a high bar for quality and accuracy
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile development environment

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

• Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty.
• Eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching.
• Eligible to participate in the following Company-paid Employee Only benefits: basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, and short- and long-term disability benefits.
• Part-time employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching.
• Full-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) program with employer matching.
• All US employees who work in a state or locality with more generous paid sick leave benefits than specified here will receive the benefit of those sick leave laws.
