Primary Function
A detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to support both sales operations and project management functions within a manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for collecting, organizing, analyzing, and maintaining data used for project tracking, sales reporting, forecasting, estimating, and operational decision-making.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform front-end data analysis for sales and project management activities
- Develop, maintain, and improve sales tracking and project management templates
- Monitor project performance metrics, estimates at completion (EAC), budgets, schedules, and forecasting data
- Capture, organize, validate, and summarize data from multiple departments and systems
- Ensure all required project and sales data is complete, accurate, and submitted on time
- Cookordination with project managers, sales teams, production, quality, engineering, operations, and leadership to obtain missing or incomplete information
- Identify data discrepancies, trends, risks, and operational red flags and communicate findings to management
- Generate reports, dashboards, and visual summaries to support business decisions
- Maintain data integrity and support ongoing data management processes
- Analyze sales performance, project costs, productivity metrics, and operational KPIs
- Assist with process improvement initiatives related to reporting, tracking, and data collection
- Support management with forecasting, budgeting, and operational reporting needs
- Create and maintain documentation for reporting processes and data procedures
- Aid in the implementation and optimization of tracking tools and reporting systems
Minimum Qualifications/Experience
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Business, Data Analytics, Finance, Engineering, Project Management, or related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience in data analysis, project coordination, sales support, or manufacturing operations preferred
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools
- Experience with Microsoft Power BI or other reporting and data visualization platforms preferred
- Experience with ERP systems, project tracking software, or manufacturing databases is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively with teams
- Ability to identify trends, inconsistencies, risks, and process improvement opportunities
- Ability to handle confidential business and financial information
Preferred Skills
- Dashboard creation and reporting automation
- Forecasting, KPI tracking, and estimate-at-completion (EAC) reporting
- Manufacturing or project-based business experience

- The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet typical of what is generally found in an office setting.
- The employee will occasionally find it necessary to enter a manufacturing environment.
- The manufacturing environment is typical of that type of setting employees may be exposed to inclement weather, loud noises, tripping hazards; and there may be exposure to sparks, welding arc, open flame, and moving equipment.
