Data & AI Governance & Ethics Lead

For our client, a leader in the Finance & Insurance space, we are seeking a Data & AI Governance & Ethics Lead to join their team. This role focuses on the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will partner with business, technical, and operational stakeholders to build reporting, surface trends, and translate analysis into action, strengthening data-driven execution within a regulated financial services environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive adherence to information management governance activities and compliance
• Develop and contribute to information governance guidelines and standards
• Lead information governance oversight processes and enforce compliance through audits
• Create strategic roadmaps for information governance initiatives
• Generate training content on information governance and regulatory requirements
• Present findings and recommendations across all organizational levels
• Act as a mentor and expert in Information Governance practices

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent experience
• 8+ years in Information or Data related practices, including information governance and risk management
• 2+ years in Data Development and Engineering processes
• 2+ years in operational risk management and mitigation frameworks
• Expertise in data governance best practices and AI legal frameworks
• Understanding of data privacy regulations like GLBA, CCPA, and GDPR

Pay

$143,320 – $273,930 annually
