Darien- Dental Hygienist Opportunity| Full-time or Part-time

About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join the team at Darien Family Dental Care in Darien, CT. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside supportive doctors and clinical team members in a patient-focused environment, with both full-time and per diem opportunities available.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional preventive and periodontal care to patients, including prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing.
• Detect and educate patients on oral diseases and oral hygiene techniques.
• Educate patients on oral health, preventive care, and treatment recommendations.
• Build strong, trusting relationships with patients and team members.
• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with doctors and clinical team members to provide an exceptional patient experience.
• Provide patient-centered care in a professional and respectful manner.
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and team-focused office culture.
• Follow all applicable clinical, safety, and compliance standards.

Requirements

• Associate's degree from an accredited dental hygiene program.
• Valid Connecticut license to practice as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH).
• Current CPR certification.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to follow outlined policies, procedures, and clinical guidelines.
• Professional and positive attitude.
• Ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Passion for patient care and oral health education.
• Available to work within the office's current operating hours (specific shifts to be determined).

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous dental office experience.
• Experience with Dentrix Ascend software.
• Experience with periodontal therapy and preventive care.

Schedule

• Flexible scheduling available for full-time and per diem opportunities.
• Available hours: Wednesday 7AM–5PM, Friday 7AM–12PM.
• Specific shifts will be discussed during the interview process.
