Dairy Technical Specialist

Responsibilities

• Provide technical sales support with a focus on nutritional and management consultations to drive business growth
• Collaborate with sales teams and key dealers to engage large accounts
• Stay updated on industry trends by interfacing with associations, vendors, and competitors
• Analyze market data to inform strategic decisions
• Develop and deliver technical presentations at various events and meetings
• Influence marketing strategies by sharing dairy expertise and insights
• Provide technical insights for new product launches and support documentation

Qualifications

• PhD or DVM with 5-9 years of experience preferred, or Master's degree with 10+ years of field experience
• Dairy industry acumen with the ability to engage across various industry segments
• Strong technical knowledge of dairy nutritional needs
• Excellent communication skills in presentation and technical writing
• Proven experience in customer-facing technical support and training
• Ability to simplify complex scientific concepts for customer understanding
• Collaborative mindset with effective cross-departmental teamwork capabilities
