Dairy - CDL A Delivery Truck Driver - Flagstaff, AZ

About the role

This position is responsible for driving trucks over established routes to safely and efficiently deliver products and render services within a specific geographic territory, typically completed within a single shift.

Responsibilities

• Load and/or unload products at various locations.
• Deliver items such as perishable foods, table top items, special equipment, and frozen foods.
• Inform customers of new products or services, issue sales promotion materials, and resolve customer complaints.
• Record information on daily sales/delivery records and obtain customer signatures upon pickup/delivery.
• Comply with company policies and Department of Transportation (D.O.T.) regulations.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) for tractor trailer operation.
• Must have a good driving record for the past 39 months.
• One or more years of tractor trailer/route delivery experience.
• Must be available to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as demanded by the department.

Physical Demands

• Regularly stand and walk.
• Ability to reach and handle objects, tools, or controls.
• Sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Visual Requirements

• Close, distance, color, and peripheral vision.
• Depth perception.
• Ability to adjust focus.
