About the Role

Community Horizons is assisting a family in the Stevens Point area who is seeking a reliable and caring individual to provide respite care for their son.

Schedule

• School Year Schedule:
  • Tuesday: 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM
  • Friday: 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM
  • Thursday: 5:30 PM – 8:30 PM
• Summer Schedule:
  • Monday–Friday: Regular daytime/afternoon hours
  • Saturday evenings: Approximately 6 hours to allow parents a weekly date night

Requirements

• Dependable and consistent
• Comfortable working with special needs
• Able to provide safe, supportive respite care in the home
• Understanding of Autism
• Reliable transportation
• Willing to go out in the community
• Must be okay with cats
