About the role
This experienced consulting position will cover all phases of an ERP solution life cycle from initial planning and design through implementation and user adoption.
Responsibilities
- Design and configure Dynamics 365 Supply Chain modules, including Product Information Management, Procurement, Production, Sales and Inventory Management, Warehouse Management, and Transportation Management
- Conduct client workshops to define business requirements required for them to successfully implement the ERP solution; capture these requirements in Business Scenario Documents/Functional Requirements Documents/User Stories
- Write design documents for any customizations and reports for D365; ensure the design documents capture boundary conditions and include comprehensive test scenarios
- Review design documents, data mapping and integration mapping written by other team members
- Configure D365 for Order Management, Item Management, Inventory, Master Planning, Warehousing, Procurement, Vendor Management, Vendor Portal and Manufacturing
- Provide guidance and support to clients during the implementation process, including training and troubleshooting
- Develop functional specifications and design documents for customizations and integrations
- Collaborate with technical consultants to ensure functional requirements are translated into technical designs
- Provide support to clients during testing and go-live phases
- Keep up-to-date with the latest industry developments and product updates related to Dynamics 365 Supply Chain
Requirements
- Strong understanding of Supply Chain Management processes and principles
- Strong knowledge of Supply Chain (Manufacturing, Warehousing, Planning), Finance
- 5 years of experience in Dynamics 365
- Excellent client-facing capabilities to perform the listed duties
- Ability to conduct business process analysis and translate requirements into functional specifications
- Experience configuring Dynamics 365 Supply Chain modules, including Product Information Management, Procurement, Production, Sales and Inventory Management, Warehouse Management, and Transportation Management
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Knowledge of Power Platform, Power BI, and related Microsoft technologies
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications in Supply Chain Management, Finance, and Operations, or related areas are preferred
