D365 Finance and Operations Senior Business Analyst

About the role

Nabors is seeking a Finance & ERP Support Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for candidates with strong ERP functional experience and a solid understanding of finance processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional support for D365 Finance modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Cash & Bank Management, Fixed Assets and SCM.
• Support financial and inventory transaction processing, including Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) business processes within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations environment.
• Support the end-to-end finance lifecycle, including invoicing, receivables, payables, and financial reporting.
• Participate in D365 Finance implementation and upgrade projects, including system configuration, testing, and deployment activities.
• Aid in data migration validation, master data setup, and configuration of financial structures such as Chart of Accounts and posting profiles.
• Assist with day-to-day system inquiries and issue resolutions from finance and business users.
• Work closely with Finance, Operations, and IT teams to understand business requirements and reported issues.
• Translate business needs into functional system solutions and configuration improvements.
• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Strong ERP functional experience and a solid understanding of finance processes, including General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, and Supply Chain modules.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations applications.
• Experience with Microsoft D365 F&O and other ERP systems.
• Experience with SQL, Power BI, or data analysis tools.
• Experience supporting finance teams in ERP environments.
• Exposure to financial month end close and reconciliations.
• Experience with AI-powered Copilot capabilities and experience assisting in the creation or configuration of custom Copilot agents within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5-10 years of experience working in D365 Finance and Operations applications.
• Strong desire to learn and grow in a complex enterprise environment.
• Good communication skills and willingness to ask questions.
