About the role
River Edge Behavioral Health serves more than 10,000 Georgians, providing comprehensive mental health, substance use disorder treatments, and supports for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Services are offered at multiple locations including Emery Highway-Macon, Monroe County, and Baldwin County.
Responsibilities
- Provide support to individual clients and their families.
- Participate in treatment planning and case management.
- Collaborate with clients and River Edge treatment team members to support clients in their treatment and recovery.
- Offer consultation and support to referral resources, mentors, family members, and others to help support clients in their recovery.
- Model and support health and wellness activities and healthy coping skills for clients.
- Maintain quality, up-to-date clinical records, including case notes, treatment plan reviews, discharge planning, and Outcomes Survey; enter necessary information into River Edge's electronic medical records (EMR) system.
- Adhere to all federal, state, and regulatory ethical/legal guidelines as an addiction professional.
- Work with all areas of Addictive Disease including Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT).
- Perform other duties as requested.
Qualifications
- Required: CARES certification, CPS-AD with at least two years' experience in a recovery-oriented system of care or social services related position.
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
