D152 - DD Day - Day Center Manager

About the role

Location: 822 Alisha Gray Street, Sandersville, GA

Schedule

Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 3:30pm

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between Support Coordinators, Case Managers, and families.
• Monitor activities in the day center, including bowel tracking and changing schedules, medications, credentials, individual documentation books, and training compliance.
• Create and follow the monthly schedule, coordinate staff meetings.
• Manage diets, lunches, and all related activities.
• Schedule staff (including PTO and point system management) to ensure adequate coverage.
• Order supplies and oversee building cleanliness.
• Monitor safety, ensure appropriate safety drills and reports are completed, and maintain inspections of equipment and fire extinguishers.
• Oversee ISP planning for everyone in the Day Center.
• Manage transportation scheduling, maintain vehicle inspections, upkeep, and repair reports.
• Research and plan events for individuals served.
• Update HRST records.

Requirements

• Two years' experience providing social or direct care services to groups of special needs individuals.
• A bachelor’s degree in a related human service field or higher.
• One year of experience at a lower level or equivalent position.
• Must be 21 years of age.
