D/R Assistant Casino Shift Manager

About the Role

This position supervises Dealers in an assigned section of the casino floor, ensuring a pleasant gaming experience for guests while maintaining high professionalism. The role also dual-rates up to Assistant Casino Shift Manager as needed.

Responsibilities

Casino Games Supervisor

• Directly supervises the operation and conduct of assigned area/tables in compliance with gaming regulations and department policies.
• Settles disputes at gaming tables; notifies Assistant Games Shift Manager or above when necessary.
• Accountable for the development and performance of dealers, including issuing annual performance evaluations.
• Rewards dealers with commendations and recommends them for Employee Recognition programs.
• Ensures a high level of service is consistently provided.
• Fosters a professional, cohesive, and positive work environment.

Assistant Casino Shift Manager

• Oversees the operation and supervision of all table games.
• Ensures compliance with gaming regulations and department policies.
• Settles disputes at gaming tables.
• Establishes performance expectations and holds staff accountable to meet objectives.
• Accountable for the development and performance of games personnel, including issuing annual evaluations.
• Rewards supervisors and dealers with commendations and recommends them for Employee Recognition programs.
• Provides on-the-job training, including service enhancement techniques.
• Assigns or reassigns games personnel to their assigned areas/tables.
• Enforces company policies, with authority to issue disciplinary action up to written notices.
• Ensures compliance with DGE regulations, company policies, and internal controls.
• Demonstrates sound decision-making in complex situations involving guests and employees.
• Ensures a high level of service is consistently provided by all gaming personnel.
• Fosters a cohesive and positive work environment.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of games, casino rules, procedures, and regulations.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in at least two games (preferably Craps as one of them) and knowledge of all games.
• Experience as a dual-rated Shift Manager is preferred but not required.
• Strong supervisory skills and demonstrated leadership ability among peers.

Pay

USD $30.00 - USD $33.50 per hour (tipped position).
