Overview Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting Cytotechnologists to support the VA San Diego Healthcare System located at La Jolla Village Dr, San Diego, CA 92161. Services will be delivered to all requesting departments throughout the facility on a range of schedules. Responsibilities Process cytology specimensPrepare and stain cytology slides for GYN and non-GYN specimensMake preliminary diagnoses independently of the physician cytologistAssist with fine needle aspiration (FNA) biopsy proceduresPrepare and stains FNA smears Qualifications An Bachelor-level degree from an accredited educational institutionASCP professional certification or equivalent Nationally-recognized Cytopathology certification or categorical certification in cytopathologyA minimum of one (1) year of experience within the last three (3) years - PREFERREDExperience in U.S. Government facilities - PREFERREDNo sponsorship available Pay Range: $29.26 - $53.30 hourly All candidates must be able to: Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shiftLift up to 50 lbs from floor to waistLift up to 20 lbsCarry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distancePush/pull with 30 lbs of force All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
