Cyril Golub was elected the second term as a Chairman of LatBAN
Venture capitalist and co-founder of Lithuanian Business Angel Network (LitBAN) and Belarusian Angel Band, Cyril Golub, has been elected for a second term as Chairman of the Latvian business angel network (LatBAN). The LatBAN management team also includes Ansis Spridzans, Daumants Pabrieza, Pavel Zeigermaher, Viktors Pedčenko, and Alina Prohorova, with new members joining this year.
About LatBAN
LatBAN was founded in April 2014 to help business angels make investments throughout the Baltic and Nordic regions. It provides training, advice, and co-investment opportunities, with over 44 members who have collectively invested more than €15.6M in startup companies.
Recent Achievements
Under the new board management since June 2022, LatBAN has:
- Partially restored its role as a key player in the Baltic and Nordic venture capital scene
- Increased the number of participants by 36%
- Grown last year’s budget by 68%
- Doubled the budget for 2023

Beyond his leadership at LatBAN, Cyril Golub serves as a venture partner at Luxembourg-based fund BergTop.VC and as an e-commerce sector expert at US-based venture fund PeakSpan Capital.
