Cylinder Handler

About the role
This role requires you to load and unload gas cylinders and related products onto and from route trucks and trailers. You will sort empty cylinders by type, check cylinder quantities, styles, and product specifications to support accurate inventory management, and review customer orders to pull required items from inventory and load products onto trucks for delivery.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload gas cylinders and related products by rolling and operating a forklift
- Sort empty cylinders by type and verify quantities, styles, and product specifications
- Review customer orders, pull required items from inventory, and load products onto trucks
- Perform basic cylinder maintenance, including painting, labeling, and cleaning the work area
- Assist with paperwork accompanying shipments
- Complete both routine and non-routine daily and weekly assignments as directed
Requirements
- High school degree or GED
- More than one (1+) year experience in plant or manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical background is desired
- Good leadership, problem solving, communication, and organizational skills
