Cylinder Handler

About the role

This role requires you to load and unload gas cylinders and related products onto and from route trucks and trailers; move cylinders by rolling and by operating a forklift. You will sort empty cylinders by type and check cylinder quantities, styles, and product specifications to support accurate inventory management. You will review customer orders, pull required items from inventory, and load products onto trucks for delivery. Perform basic cylinder maintenance, including painting, labeling, and cleaning the work area. Assist with paperwork accompanying shipments.

Requirements

You have a high school degree / GED. You have more than one (1+) year experience in plant or manufacturing environment. A strong mechanical background is desired. You must possess good leadership, problem solving, communication, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

Skills

Strong mechanical skills are necessary. Good problem-solving and organizational skills are required. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams is helpful. Basic computer skills are needed.
