Cylinder Filler II

About the role
As a Cylinder Filler, you will apply the compression temperature/pressure method to fill various high-pressure cylinders, including Industrial, Medical, and mixed gases. You will operate and safely maintain equipment for pumping or repackaging gases into cylinders, perform all required pre-fill and post-fill inspections, and verify safety through tests before cylinders are released. You will attend to the condition of cylinders, ensuring those requiring maintenance or repair are set aside. Regularly inspect and maintain pumping apparatus and associated pressure gauges and monitoring devices to ensure reliable operation. Fill cylinders or containers to the target pressure or weight, maintain accurate cylinder filling records, and follow established procedures to meet local, state, and federal regulations. Assist with loading and unloading trucks and/or trailers, support inventory and general housekeeping, and provide customer support as needed.
Responsibilities
- Fill high-pressure cylinders (Industrial, Medical, and Mixes) using the compression temperature/pressure method.
- Operate and safely maintain equipment for pumping or repackaging gases into cylinders.
- Perform pre-fill and post-fill inspections and verify safety through tests before releasing cylinders.
- Inspect cylinders for maintenance or repair needs and set aside those requiring care.
- Maintain pumping apparatus, pressure gauges, and monitoring devices for reliable operation.
- Fill cylinders or containers to the target pressure or weight as appropriate.
- Maintain accurate cylinder filling records and follow established procedures to comply with regulations.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks and/or trailers.
- Support inventory, general housekeeping, and customer assistance as needed.
Requirements
- Valid employment authorization in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future.
- Ability to perform very heavy work: routinely lift 25–75 lbs., and occasionally lift 76 to over 100 lbs. with the aid of a lifting device.
- Ability to read and comprehend all written and computer-generated documentation.
- Ability to operate a forklift and become forklift certified.
Qualifications
- Preferred: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred: Prior forklift experience.

Pay
The hourly base pay range for this position in Colorado is $24.50 - $25.00. Salary is determined based on scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, and market/business considerations.
Schedule
Monday - Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm.
