About the role
The Cylinder Exchange Technician - Box Truck Driver role is part of A-Gas Rapid Recovery, the leading service provider in refrigerant recovery services. This position drives business development to meet gas acquisition goals through the company’s Rapid Recovery Network Services.
Responsibilities
- Manage the "Rapid Exchange" program by picking up and dropping off refrigerant gas cylinders at customer locations using a box truck.
- Provide excellent customer service through a deep understanding of the competitive landscape, full service offerings, and customer needs to build customer loyalty and increase business opportunities.
- Prepare and properly label cylinders.
- Operate an electric pallet jack and lift gate to load and unload shipments.
- Consolidate refrigerants into half-ton cylinders.
- Assist with the sourcing of gas by looking for additional gas to bring back to the company for reclamation or destruction purposes.
- Keep accurate reports and submit daily work orders and weekly expense reports on time.
- Provide care for your assigned vehicle by keeping it in good condition and maintaining it according to the vehicle's manual.
- Work safely and report any safety concerns.
- Perform any other job duties as identified.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 21 years old
- Possession of a valid driver's license - Clean driving record
- Valid CDL Class A or B license and ability to obtain hazmat endorsement within 30 days of employment
- Ability to obtain EPA 608 license within 14 days of employment
- Strong reading, writing, and math skills
- Capability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and spend extended periods driving
- Ability to lift 75+ lbs
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Priority given to safety attitude
- Experience in the HVAC industry and familiarity with refrigerant handling and HVAC gas recovery is preferred, although various other factors will be considered

Work Schedule
