Cycling Instructor (SL)

About the role

Join the Best. Team. Ever at The Edge Fitness Clubs. You'll deliver high-quality member experiences through safe, effective, and motivational classes, increase attendance, and recruit members to join.

Responsibilities

• Teach at least two classes a week
• Create community through positive interactions before and after class
• Address member concerns or direct to appropriate club management
• Secure appropriate substitutes to ensure class coverage
• Maintain a growing social media presence
• Report equipment maintenance needs to club management
• Drive excitement for classes and recruit members to join
• Adhere to Group Exercise policies and procedures
• Support and articulate the Edge Fitness mission statement
• Maintain a healthy way of life

Requirements

• 6 months experience teaching cycling classes
• Nationally-Accredited Cycling Certification. Mad Dogg Spinning Certification preferred
• Current CPR/AED certification
• Outgoing, energetic, and able to perform in front of an audience
• Access to regular email and phone communication
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of safe exercise techniques and ability to demonstrate them
