Cycle Instructor

About the role

We are currently seeking an energetic, reliable and passionate Group Cycle Instructor to teach Indoor Cycling at a high profile university fitness center located in the Longwood area of Boston, MA.

Responsibilities

• Develop effective, engaging, and motivating class formats accompanied by fun and appropriate playlists.
• Build class attendance and offer alternative movements to accommodate all levels of fitness.
• Provide class coverage at multiple locations.

Requirements

• Current nationally recognized Group Fitness Certification or specialty class certificate, specialty class license (i.e. Zumba®, etc.) and current CPR /AED certification (no online CPR/AED certification accepted).
• Prior experience in Group Fitness, Personal Training, corporate health promotion, wellness, etc.
• Knowledgeable about the industry with customer skills to network, engage, and interact with all clients, guests, and participants.
• Able to effectively engage participants as a public speaker.
• Competent with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook).

Pay

The hourly rate for this position ranges from $30 to $75. Plus One offers a comprehensive benefits package (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements), which includes health insurance, life and disability benefits, 401(k) plan, and paid time off. In addition to the hourly rate, Plus One adheres to all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws as applicable.
