About the Role

The primary responsibility of the Cycle Counter will be all assigned tasks relating to inventory control, including maintaining inventory counts and communicating inventory needs. Advise Materials Management of supply shortages. Perform all duties with judgment and self-motivation.

Responsibilities

• Submit accurate cycle counts on a daily basis.
• Accurately input daily counts in designated system(s).
• Prepares various reports such as inventory balances and variance reports.
• Prepares list of depleted items and recommends survey of defective or unusable items.
• Prepare & Communicate Inventory to Supervisors utilizing Microsoft Excel.
• Perform various counts/investigations.
• Verifies clerical computations against physical count of stock and adjust errors in computation or count, or investigates and reports reasons for discrepancies.
• Operate various equipment including forklifts, scanners and computers.
• Lift parts and containers that weigh up to 50lbs.
• Assist with yearly physical inventory and communicate issues to management/customer.
• Comply with all applicable and current Materials Management, Human Resources, Employee Health and Safety, Compliance, OSHA, CLIA, CAP, etc. policies and procedures.
• Participate in quality assurance programs to ensure that quality standards are met.
• Participate in continuing education programs and department meetings.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• One (1) year relevant experience.
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to effectively communicate both written and orally.
• Good time management skills.
• Effective communication and people skills.
• Good problem solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferences

• Forklift certification.
• Experience in a medical facility processing inventory.

Schedule

Monday-Friday 0700-1600 with holidays and other shifts as needed.
