Cycle Counter- Inventory

About the role

INTERMOUNTAIN FARMERS ASSOCIATION, a regional agricultural cooperative, is seeking qualified and experienced individuals to fill the position of Cycle Counter- Inventory at the IFA Country Store in St. George, Utah.

Responsibilities

• Work with branch personnel to ensure that inventory policies and procedures are followed
• Perform and complete accurate inventory cycle counts
• Analyze book and physical inventory reports to ensure product accuracy
• Safeguard company inventory assets
• Work and communicate well with co-workers and handle stress while performing job functions
• Able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
• Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral or schedule form
• Effectively present information and respond to questions from management in an informative and cheerful manner
• Create needed signage for the products
• Provide backup support to Office Manager and Receiving Clerk as needed
• Help maintain stock rotation
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Work hours have some flexibility
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent
• Prior inventory management experience desirable
• Skilled at using Microsoft Office and other company software programs
• Work around and handle hazardous material properly
• Be able to stoop, bend, lift, push, pull, walk, and stretch repeatedly during shift
• Be able to climb a ladder, lift 50 lbs., and be on your feet for the duration of your shift
• Become trained and be able to operate a forklift according to company safety policies
• Maintain a valid driver's license
