About the role

The ICQA Associate II plays a crucial role in inventory cycle counting and monitoring within the warehouse. Reporting to the ICQA Manager/Supervisor, this position focuses on maintaining inventory accuracy and quality, resolving discrepancies, and supporting associates in following proper procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily cycle counts and audit inbound/outbound shipments to ensure inventory accuracy and quality
  • Identify, research, document, and resolve inventory discrepancies; escalate issues to facility leadership as necessary
  • Verify quantity on hand by physically inspecting and counting product across various packaging types
  • Maintain accurate product identification, location, and lot code data in appropriate systems
  • Support associates in following standard operating procedures for inventory transactions
  • Report inventory accuracy and discrepancy findings verbally and in writing
  • Assist with special inventory projects as directed; operate PIV equipment as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED preferred
  • Forklift certification strongly preferred
  • Minimum of one (1) year’s experience as a cycle counter in a warehouse/distribution setting
  • Experience conducting process audits and audits on inbound and outbound shipments
  • Knowledge of Lean concepts preferred
  • Working knowledge of warehouse management systems preferred
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English (Bilingual Spanish/English skills preferred)
  • Basic math skills - add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Must be able to interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and function well in a high-paced and, at times, stressful environment

Benefits

Barrett Distribution Centers offers a competitive compensation package including a starting hourly wage of $18.50.

Pay

The starting hourly wage for this position is $18.50.

Schedule

This position is full-time, Monday through Friday, from 7am-3:30pm.
