Responsibilities
- Perform daily cycle counts and random audits of parts and materials.
- Enter cycle count transactions into the stockroom database.
- Resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain required records and reports.
- Use forklift or pallet jack to move materials as required.
- May provide work leadership to lower-level employees.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- May require forklift certification.
- Understanding of how transactions affect inventory.
- Ability to correctly measure materials.
- Proficiency in enterprise databases and MS Office.
- Thorough knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures, including handling exceptions.
- Basic reading, writing, and numerical skills.
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
- Ability to operate powered equipment such as a forklift or hydraulic jack lift.
- Effective verbal communication skills.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Pay
This is an hourly non-exempt role with a starting pay range of $23.35/hour. Factors affecting starting pay include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications. Eligible for overtime when working more than 40 hours in a week (or as required by state law).
