Cycle Counter
Position Summary
The Cycle Counter is responsible for maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy and integrity. Responsible for inventory accuracy and reconciliation on a daily basis, manage daily cycle count of all product. Investigate variances, identify underlying causes of variances, formulate and implement corrective action.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform cycle counts using an RF scanner while adhering to the cycle counting process, procedures and guidelines
- Accurately and efficiently locate goods, both physically and in computer database (WMS/RF Scanner)
- Work closely with Inventory Control to assure standards and accuracy of inventory transactions
- Research discrepancies between physical and system count to find root cause
- Assist in cycle counts throughout the fiscal year in a timely manner
- Provide assistance to the distribution departments when requested or assigned
- Maintain records of all cycle counts, inventory transactions and correspondences
- Communicate cycle count findings to Inventory Management
- Avoid and report any and all damages accurately
- Work with cross functional teams to resolve issues with inventory counts
- Pull cycle count reports in order to perform proper research and adjustments to PO’s, RMA’s, TRN’s, SO’s, profit/loss etc.
- Operate material handling equipment as necessary, not to exceed 50% of job duties
- Able to travel to Living Spaces stores to count, verify and adjust inventory control levels
Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) equivalent required
- One to three years of experience in warehouse/distribution center, inventory control or cycle counting or related field
- Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite including Word and Outlook
- Forklift certification
Position Hiring Range
The hiring pay range provides a good faith estimate of the salary or hourly wage that Living Spaces expects to pay for the position upon hire. Pay will be determined by several factors, including, but not limited to: applicant's education, relevant work experience, knowledge, applicable and relevant skills and abilities, market demand, Company budget, as well as internal equity and alignment with geographic market data.
Compensation
- $19.35 - $25.15 Overtime pay is available for eligible, non-exempt Team Members
- Reimbursement for expenses as required by applicable law and Company policy
- Retail, Guest Services and Distribution Center Team Members are eligible to receive team bonus based on meeting specific goals and KPI's
