Cycle Counter - 1st Shift

About the role

The Cycle Counter 2 role supports the Cycle Count Supervisor in ensuring accuracy across warehouse locations through daily inventory counts, record verification, and issue reporting.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily scheduled inventory counts by locations
• Verify the accuracy of inventory records and ensure that all materials descriptions match with the description of SKID labels
• Access warehouse racking to physically count individual items
• Ensure complete accuracy in Count 1, Count 2, and Audit count, and verify that all count results are accurate and reliable
• Report any issues identified during daily count operations promptly to the Team Lead and supervisor
• Complete daily reports to include new locations and/or relocation of materials
• Absorb and assist with special projects in Warehouse and plant
• Operate a sit-down Forklift, Scissor Lift, Jack pallet and maneuver it safely to move product
• Follow all safety rules and regulations while operating warehouse equipment and maintain a clean work area

Requirements

• Detail-Oriented: Ability to accurately count and reconcile and verify inventory, ensuring operational efficiency
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with different departments and report findings
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic computer skills for data entry and reporting
• Physical Stamina: Capability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, and lifting items as needed
