About the role

The Cybersecurity Task Order Project Manager is responsible for managing cybersecurity projects within a government contract. This includes planning, executing, and overseeing all aspects of the project to ensure compliance with contractual requirements and security standards.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope and objectives.
  • Ensure adherence to cybersecurity best practices and regulatory compliance.
  • Manage vendor relationships and oversee subcontractor performance.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination among team members and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in cybersecurity project management.
  • Proven experience managing complex cybersecurity projects.
  • Knowledge of relevant cybersecurity frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO).
  • Experience with project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

  • CISSP certification preferred.
  • Experience with government contracting and cybersecurity regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
