Cybersecurity Software Engineer

About the role

A Cybersecurity Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining secure software solutions. This role requires expertise in cybersecurity principles and technologies, including but not limited to encryption, authentication, and secure coding practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure software solutions that comply with industry standards and best practices.
• Conduct security assessments and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security is integrated into all phases of the software development lifecycle.
• Stay current with emerging threats and technologies, and incorporate these into the design and implementation of secure software solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in cybersecurity or software engineering.
• Experience with at least one programming language commonly used in cybersecurity (e.g., Python, Java).
• Knowledge of common cybersecurity frameworks and methodologies (e.g., NIST, CIS Benchmarks).
• Experience with secure coding practices and tools (e.g., static analysis, dynamic analysis).
