Cybersecurity Project Manager – Hybrid (Frisco, TX)

About the role

We are looking for a PMP-certified Cybersecurity Project Manager for a global high tech company. In this role you will lead internal projects to ensure delivery against scope, time, budget, and quality expectations. The role manages corporate and third party vendor efforts to plan, build, and implement solutions addressing internal cybersecurity, compliance, and audit issues. This is a 9.5 month (extensions likely), 40 hour/week hybrid role in Frisco, TX. This is a W2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects across cybersecurity, compliance, and audit domains, ensuring alignment with enterprise risk and governance objectives.
• Collaborate with business units to develop, manage, and track remediation plans resulting from non‑compliance.
• Prepare and deliver status reporting for outstanding issues, escalations, and remediation progress.
• Exercise independent judgment in developing methods, techniques, and criteria for achieving objectives.
• Develop strategy and lead large, cross‑division functional teams or projects impacting long‑term organizational goals.
• Contribute to innovative principles and ideas, providing highly effective solutions in complex disciplines.
• Participate in cross‑division, multi‑function teams to advance cybersecurity priorities.

Requirements

• 10+ years of project management experience in cybersecurity, compliance, or audit environments.
• PMP certification required.
• In‑depth knowledge of operational policies, processes, and methodologies applicable to project management.
• Strong communication skills with ability to determine escalation thresholds and influence executive stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity or related field required; Master’s preferred.
