Responsibilities
- Handling of cyber threat intelligence
- Guided cyber threat hunt
- Endpoint forensics
- Vulnerability research
- Develop and enhance playbooks and procedures
- Monitor systems for threats and vulnerabilities
- Contribute to information security policies and standards
- Create meaningful metrics to demonstrate effectiveness of security controls
- Participate in security architecture reviews and exception approval processes
- Generate security related artifacts
- Participate in program improvement for future interns
Qualifications
- Working towards Nexus or Bachelors in Cyber Security focused discipline
- Achieved the following certifications or equivalent: IT Fundamentals, Network+, A+, Security+
- Working towards one or more of the following certifications: AWS Cloud Practitioner, GCP Cloud Digital Leader, or a security specialization
- Awareness of FinTech related compliance frameworks (PCI, SOX, GLBA)
- Knowledge of industry standard security compliance programs (PCI, SOX, GLBA)
- Awareness of National Security Standards (NIST CyberSecurity Framework, NIST SP800 Series, etc.)
