Cybersecurity Governance Support (Active TS/SCI Required)

ASE is looking for a Cybersecurity Governance Specialist to support the HQ USINDOPACOM mission in Honolulu, HI through policy development, RMF Common Controls management, Significant Activity Reporting, and responsive customer support.

Responsibilities

  • Draft policy documents, consolidate applicable guidance, track update timelines, and submit completed drafts to the Governance Team Lead.
  • Review significant activity notifications and coordinate with USINDOPACOM users to remediate required actions and report compliance.
  • Perform Local Registration Authority duties in accordance with the DoD Registration Practice Statement and USINDOPACOM standard operating procedures.
  • Monitor and process Information Assurance requests submitted through FootPrints, including individual, role-based, and group account requests.
  • Maintain service logs and document actions taken on Information Assurance and LRA requests.
  • Create, replace, reformat, and revoke SIPR tokens, complete PIN resets, and maintain required token records.
  • Request credential identifiers or tokens for role-based and group accounts.
  • Support preparation for USINDOPACOM LRA audits and ensure designated workstations, records, and required documentation are audit-ready.
  • Coordinate with LRA System Administrators and Information Assurance Officers to verify required duties and audit preparation activities are complete.
  • Maintain current and accurate designation letters and other LRA documentation in the approved USINDOPACOM repository.
  • Perform assigned Information System Security Manager duties in accordance with USINDOPACOM, Navy, and DoD policies and procedures.
  • Investigate Information Assurance events, including network violations and other cybersecurity incidents.
  • Process website and port unlock requests, classified hard-drive destruction actions, and Information Assurance policy exception requests.
  • Support additional cybersecurity governance, compliance, and ISSM functions as assigned.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with IAW DoDM 8140.03, must meet Intermediate proficiency level.
  • At least 3 years’ experience with managing, developing, or preparing RMF the A&A of systems within the DoD.
  • Experience with automated C&A and A&A toolsets (e.g., Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS)).
  • Experience using Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Strong customer service, time management, and technical writing skills.

Pay

$128,000 - $143,000
