Cybersecurity Engineer - TS/SCI required
Job Description
As a Cybersecurity Engineer at Parsons, you will play a key role in designing and implementing robust security solutions for mission-critical systems supporting the Department of War and United States Army. You’ll be part of a diverse team of 500 professionals working in Aberdeen Proving Ground and Edgewood, Maryland, advancing Army modernization and national defense through a variety of initiatives spanning 5 years and a total value of more than $600 million.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and evaluate cybersecurity solutions and architectures to protect information systems and networks.
- Implement and monitor security controls, policies, and procedures in accordance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability analyses, and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cybersecurity measures into system designs and operational processes.
- Support the development and execution of test plans, including the evaluation of new technologies and security features.
- Ensure compliance with DoD and industry cybersecurity standards and frameworks.
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations for stakeholders.
- Stay current with emerging threats, technologies, and best practices in cybersecurity engineering.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s to Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering, or Mathematics with a concentration in computer science, or equivalent.
- Must possess a minimum of 3–10+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity engineering.
- Active TS/SCI is required.

- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other standard business software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Security Clearance Requirement
An active Top Secret SCI security clearance is required for this position.
