Cybersecurity Compliance Analyst - TS with SCI Eligibility Required
Akima Systems Engineering is looking for a Cybersecurity Compliance Analyst to support the Command-and-Control Communications and Cyber directorate's mission in Honolulu, HI. This role is crucial for maintaining accountability and enhancing the security posture by operationalizing cyber through compliance, audits, and validation of foundational cybersecurity requirements.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate DoD Directives, validate compliance, track, and report on subordinate commands and Direct Reporting Units (DRUs).
- Use tools like Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) and Continuous Monitoring Risk Scoring (CMRS) to conduct risk analyses, identify vulnerabilities, and manage mitigation efforts until resolution.
- Perform vulnerability analyses based on intelligence reports.
- Review cybersecurity compliance policies and recommend updates.
- Coordinate cybersecurity inspections and conduct technical and procedural audits using established standards and tools such as Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) and Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP).
- Administer the workflow portion of the Defense CyberScope online web tool, consolidating information for scorecard submissions.
- Prepare executive summaries for leadership briefings and provide monthly status reports detailing accomplished tasks, ongoing projects, and areas requiring government action.
- Support RMF (Risk Management Framework) process efforts, as required.
- Experience using Microsoft Office tools (Project, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, and Outlook).
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI clearance.
- Minimum High School Diploma/GED.
- Must possess ONE of the following certifications:
- CAP (Certified Authorization Professional)
- CASP+ CE
- CISM (Certified Information Security Manager)
- CISSP (or Associate)
- GSLC (GIAC Security Leadership Certification)
- CCISO (Certified Chief Information Security Officer)
- HCISPP (Healthcare Information Security and Privacy Practitioner)
- CompTIA Sec+
- At least 3 years of experience related to Cybersecurity, Information Technology, and Computer Network Defense (CND).
