About the role
Cybersecurity Engineer (Vulnerability scanning) responsible for performing routine project tasks applied to specialized cybersecurity problems, integrating electronic processes, analyzing information security requirements, and providing security‑engineering support throughout planning, design, development, testing, demonstration, and integration of information systems.
Responsibilities
- Integrate electronic processes or methodologies to resolve system and technology problems related to cybersecurity requirements.
- Analyze information security requirements and apply systematic approaches to resolve workflow, organization, and planning issues.
- Provide security‑engineering support for planning, design, development, testing, demonstration, and integration of information systems.
- Maintain and administer vulnerability scanning solutions in a DoD environment.
Requirements
- Minimum seven (7) years of relevant IT experience.
- DoD Secret Clearance.
- IT‑II Non‑Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 3 (T3) at time of proposal submission.
- Four (4) years of experience maintaining vulnerability scanning solutions in a DoD environment.
- Primary DCWF Work Role 521: Cyber Defense Infrastructure Support – Proficiency Level: Intermediate.
- Secondary DCWF Work Role 451: System Administrator – Proficiency Level: Intermediate.
- Computing environment experience as an ACAS Administrator.
Pay
Salary range: $120,000 USD – $130,000 USD.
