Vulnerability Scanner

About the role

As a cyber threat specialist, you'll help customers solve problems using vulnerability scanning tools to evaluate risk and make meaningful recommendations. You'll monitor security environments and identify security gaps through the eyes of an adversary.

Responsibilities

• Support government customers with 6+ years of experience in cybersecurity
• Perform vulnerability scanning using tools like Nessus or Rapid7
• Manage vulnerability processes, configure scanners, and remediate issues
• Scan enterprise systems, enclaves, and standalone devices
• Monitor and analyze security environments from an adversary perspective

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in vulnerability scanning
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Master's degree in an IT or Cyber field preferred
• Security+ or CISSP certification preferred

Qualifications

• Experience with container scanning, network device scanning, or cloud scanning is a plus
• Knowledge of networking, including VLANs and cloud infrastructure
• Ability to troubleshoot complex networking configuration settings

• Strong understanding of adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures
• Effective communication and storytelling skills
• Proficiency in vulnerability management tools
• Ability to adapt to new technologies and methodologies

Pay

The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD).

Schedule

Full-time and part-time employees working at least 20 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in Booz Allen’s benefit programs. Individuals that do not meet the threshold are only eligible for select offerings, not inclusive of health benefits.
