Responsibilities
- Support internal security operations and client-facing engagements
- Develop foundational technical, analytical, and professional skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts, including: Networking fundamentals, Operating systems (Windows and Linux), Common attack types and defensive controls
- Familiarity with security tools or concepts such as vulnerability scanners, SIEMs, IDS/IPS, or endpoint security
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in computer science or information systems
- Experience with Windows, UNIX and/or Linux operating systems
- Desired but not Required: Internship, lab, academic, or personal project experience in cybersecurity or IT
- Exposure to vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., Nessus) or log analysis
- Basic scripting or programming familiarity (PowerShell, Python, Bash, SQL)
- Entry-level cybersecurity certifications such as: CompTIA Security+, Network+, GIAC entry-level certifications
